What is PawPawCat?
PawPawCat is an idle cat game. You adopt pixel cats, feed them, decorate their rooms, and they earn PAW for you, even while you're away. At the end of every season the top players share a real RON reward pool.
That's the whole pitch. No grind, no pressure. Log in, look after your cats, come back later. It's meant to be relaxing.
Free to play, always
You can play the entire game without spending a cent. Your first room and your first cat are free, and idle mining alone earns PAW every hour. Spending RON simply speeds you up: more rooms, more cats, better decorations, but it's never a wall.
Seasons
The game runs in seasons: Season 1, 2, 3, and on. Each season lasts about one month. When a season ends, rewards are paid out and the board resets for the next one.
What resets, what stays
| At season end | What happens |
|---|---|
| Rooms | Reset. Unlock again next season |
| Cats | Reset. Re-adopt from Room 1 |
| PAW balance | Reset. Earnings are per-season |
| Decorations you bought | Kept forever. Place them again anytime |
Decorations are the one thing that carries over. Buy a Legendary once and it's yours across every future season. You just re-place it each time.
How you earn PAW
Three ways, and they stack:
Every cat mines PAW per hour, all season, whether you're online or not.
Feed a cat and it mints a chunk of PAW on the spot. Once per cat per day.
Furniture boosts a room's whole mining rate, up to +189% with three Legendaries.
Rooms & mining power
Seven rooms. Room 1 is free; the rest cost RON and each one earns more than the last.
| Room | Unlock | PAW Cat /hr | Premium /hr | Room earns |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Free | 100 | 200 | 600 PAW/hr |
| 2 | 5 RON | 300 | 600 | 1,800 PAW/hr |
| 3 | 10 RON | 600 | 1,200 | 3,600 PAW/hr |
| 4 | 20 RON | 1,200 | 2,400 | 7,200 PAW/hr |
| 5 | 35 RON | 2,000 | 4,000 | 12,000 PAW/hr |
| 6 | 55 RON | 3,000 | 6,000 | 18,000 PAW/hr |
| 7 | 75 RON | 4,000 | 8,000 | 24,000 PAW/hr |
Each room holds 4 PAW Cats + 1 Premium Cat, which always mines double a PAW Cat. A full room (4 PAW Cats + Premium) earns the "Room earns" rate above.
Decorations
| Rarity | Cost | Boost each | Max per room (×3) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 4 RON | +9% | +27% |
| Uncommon | 7 RON | +16% | +48% |
| Rare | 10 RON | +23% | +69% |
| Epic | 17 RON | +40% | +120% |
| Legendary | 27 RON | +63% | +189% |
Feeding uses a little network gas to mint PAW. Roughly 0.01 RON of gas returns 200 PAW. Better food (unlocked as you own more rooms) mints more per feed.
The reward pool: where the money goes
This is the part we care most about being clear on. At the end of each season, eligible players split a RON reward pool, in proportion to the PAW they earned.
Our commitments to the community
- We're seeding the pool with 10,000 $RON of our own to kick things off.
- 100% of POD rewards go straight back to the community.
- 100% of shop & in-game sales revenue is returned to players, not pocketed.
How revenue keeps the game alive
Every season's total revenue pool is split so the game can run forever:
That 70% reserve is the engine. It means Season 5, Season 10, Season 20 all still have a real pool to compete for. The game funds its own future instead of relying on new money.
Who wins a share
To share the reward pool at season end, you need both:
The game shows your eligibility and your projected reward live, so you always know where you stand, with no surprises on the last day.
Fully on-chain
Everything real in PawPawCat is a transaction on Ronin. Adopting a cat, unlocking a room, feeding, decorating, claiming rewards, all of it settles on-chain, so nobody (including us) can quietly change your progress. What you own, you own.
Built on Ronin. Fast, cheap, and made for games. The whole point is that the fun isn't slowed down by the chain.
No tokens, no NFTs, for now
PAW is an in-game points balance, not a tradeable token. Cats, rooms and decorations are game items, not NFTs. There are no plans to launch a token or NFT collection right now.
We'd rather ship a game that's fun first. This PawPaper is a living document. The game will grow and adapt based on your feedback, and we'll update this page as it does. If something changes, you'll read it here.
That's the game.
Come try it. Your first cat is waiting.
